This hands on practical workshop is a full day at Sunflower House and garden with naturapathic nutritionist Kerry-Lee Revitt, covering how the garden and kitchen work hand in hand.

From Garden to Kitchen here's how.....

With ever increasing food prices and an increased awareness  of  healthy eating this one day practical workshop gives an insight into how you can start to grow your own fresh organic ingredients.
The workshop covers all the basic planning, sowing and planting methods. Kerry-Lee will show you how to nurture your plants with best feeds along with composts and natural ways to protect them from pests. You will be taught how to chose the right vegetables for your garden and the right varieties to optimise your health needs. It is not about quantity but quality - introducing the power of herbs, sprouts and microgreens and how a sprinkle can take the immune boosting power of any dish to the next level.
After picking your fresh organic ingredients you will be taught how to make raw produce delicious by cutting, prepping and flavouring it with microgreens, pestos and healthy dressings which you then have the pleasure of sampling for your lunch.
In the afternoon there is a discussion on how you can combine different vegetables and herbs in multi-layered beautifully textured plant-based dishes. Kerry-Lee shares her knowledge on the medicinal properties of simple fruits and vegetables you can grow at home and how they can improve your health. You will return home with the knowledge, skills, inspiration and confidence to transform your own garden and kitchen to produce a ready supply of veg and serve them up for family and friends to enjoy.
